Lorain County Metro Parks has partnered with TrueNorth Cultural Arts to provide an exciting variety of both fine arts and performing arts programming. The diverse opportunities include theater productions and classes; musical concerts running the gamut from classical to classic rock; and fine art shows featuring paintings, jewelry and ceramics. Highlighting this collaboration is the commissioning, and staging, of theatrical productions unique to Lorain County. This timeless fairy tale story comes to life on stage with the hallmarks of a Rodgers and Hammerstein production. In a far away land lived a beautiful girl named Cinderella who was mistreated by her stepmother and stepsisters. She is denied the chance to go to the Royal Ball but with the help of her Fairy Godmother and some mice, she meets her Prince Charming and falls in love.

Family Life Series: Frog And Toad

Based on easy reading books by the same name, Frog and Toad chronicles the simple, often humorous, sometimes poignant tales of two friends, a frog and a toad as they attempt to fly a kite, clean Toad?s messy house and other fun tales. Learn the differences between frogs and toads with a naturalist program at 5:30pm on Fridays.

Based on Frances Hodgson Burnett's children novel, The Secret Garden

A young English girl raised in India, is orphaned by a cholera outbreak and sent to live in England with her disfigured uncle and relatives whom she has never met. Her personality blossoms as she and a young gardener bring new life to a neglected garden and her new family.
