Bernice Cernoch
(Eleanor Burrell)
After moving from her home in the Youngstown area and just looking for something to do, Bernice now finds herself looking back at some forty plays and fund raisers. Most memorable roles have been Tzeitel in Fiddler on the Roof, Mama in I Remember Mama, and Eulalie in The Music Man. She has also served on Clague's Board, has taught children's theater, has been in numerous independent films and some movies, and performs Amelia Bedelia stories. After retiring as a second grade teacher, she currently substitutes, works game days for the Cleveland Indians and the Cleveland Browns, paints with two watercolor groups, hikes, and participates in church activities. She'd like to say thank you to TrueNorth for a most welcoming first experience here, for the role of Eleanor the peacemaker, and for the chance to have a sister.

Anne Chriszt (Lillian)
Anne is very excited to be back on the TrueNorth stage! Recent roles include Princess Fiona in Shrek the Musical (TrueNorth Cultural Arts), Jan Sanderson in I'll Be Back Before Midnight(Huntington Playhouse), Hope Harcourt in Anything Goes (Sandstone Summer Theater) and Dolly in Annie Get Your Gun (TrueNorth Cultural Arts). Anne currently serves as the Youth Theater Program Director at Huntington Playhouse in Bay Village. She also works as a tour guide at the A Christmas Story House and Museum in Tremont. Kathie Dice (Doris Burrell)
Kathie came to TrueNorth last summer as Emily Watson the narrator in Trail Magic, (another Kelly Boyer Sagert’s commissioned play). She has been on stage, in front of the camera and behind the mic most of her life. An award winning stand-up comedian, solo show writer/performer, I’m Just Me…Mary; Sincerely Eve; Eleanor Unplugged, stage actress, Run For Your Wife; Plaza Suit;, Picnic; to name a few, and film, American Splendor; Bringing Up Bobby; Night Owls of Coventry; among others, throw in a few radio and TV ads, improv, writing and speaking, it would appear…Kathie loves the performing arts. She has been married for 38 years to Steve, has two children, Carli and Derek and 3 of the cutest grandkids in the world with another due in the summer. Her passion and message to everyone is: follow your dream, do the thing that scares you and make a difference in someone’s life.

Jenny Erbs (Rose O'Reilly)
Jenny is excited to make her first appearance at TrueNorth with the talented cast and crew of Sisters Forever. Jenny has performed on other local stages including Clague Playhouse, Huntington Playhouse, and North Royalton Players. Jenny's favorite roles include Laura in The Psychic, Julia in Fallen Angels, Maggie in Jake's Women, and Angie in Breaking Legs. When Jenny is not lighting up the stage, she is a corporate accountant and active volunteer.

Marilyn Forster (Tempe Burrell)
Marilyn is a graduate of Muskingum College and has taught music education from K-through college level. She has performed in numerous theatrical productions and has directed over ten musicals from The Wizard of Oz to Phantom of the Opera. Her most recent role was Aunt March in the musical of Little Women at Firelands, BGSU. Her favorite roles were Maria in West Side Story and the Witch in Into The Woods. She has directed and performed with choral groups in Ohio and New York, as well as directing handbell choirs. She lives in Huron with her husband, Tom, her biggest supporter and fan.

Bernadette Hisey (Virginia Burrell)
Bernadette was last seen at TrueNorth as the Mother Abbess in The Sound of Music. She has also performed at the Beck Center, Cain Park, Cassidy Theatre, CAMEO Productions, Clague Playhouse, Ensemble Theatre of Cleveland, Fairmount Performing Arts Center, JCC at Tri-C East, Lorain Community Music Theatre, Mighty Goliath Productions, and Workshop Players. Favorite roles include Arlene in Baby for which she won a Berko award for Outstanding Performance, Mrs. Anna in The King and I, Kate/Lilli Vanessi in Kiss Me, Kate, Mabel in The Pirates of Penzance, Annie Oakley in Annie, Get Your Gun and Fraulein Schneider in Cabaret. Most recently, she was one of 3 actors in A Broadway Christmas Carol at Clague. By day, she is a music teacher at Harrison Elementary in Lakewood where she also has a tap dancing club!

Tyson Douglas Rand (Ken Burrell)
Tyson Douglas Rand is "flattered & amazed" at this opportunity to recreate, experience and share this colorful stroll through both local & American history. Tyson was first seen on the TrueNorth stage as Kris Kringle in There's Love! He is the Artistic Director of The Cleveland Shakespeare Festival as well as a director, actor and designer for many other theaters across North East Ohio. Recent projects include performing as G.W. Nethercott in Sordid Lives and directing Lilies - The Revival of a Romantic Drama for convergence-continuum. In addition to playing Ken Burrell, Tyson is currently directing Lost in Yonkers for Clague Playhouse in Westlake, which will run in March. He hopes to see you all this summer for some free out door Shakespeare

Dean Stamatis (Marty Schilling)
Dean is excited to return to the TrueNorth stage, having recently made his TrueNorth debut as the title character in Shrek: The Musical. As part of Dean's musical career, he has performed in Forever Plaid (Sparky) and in 1940's Radio Hour (Biff Baker) at the Old Town Theatre in North Ridgeville. From 2007 until 2011, Dean had sung in an acapella christian vocal band formally known as Praise-Apella . Dean wishes to thank all of the cast members and directors for this amazing experience!

Brian Bowers, Director
Brian is thrilled at the opportunity to direct the world premier of Sisters Forever after directing last season's production of The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley. Audiences may also remember his work on stage, having most recently performed as Lord Farquaad in Shrek, the Musical. Other TrueNorth performances include Working, Side by Side, 1940's Swingtime!, The Last Five Years, Baby, Miracle on 34th St. the Musical, and The Nutcracker: A Wacky Holiday Musical. Brian has worked at numerous Cleveland area theatres including The Cleveland Playhouse, Playhouse Square, Cesear's Forum, Beck Center, Dobama, and the Barn Theatre in Augusta, MI. Brian works as a staff member at TrueNorth in the Box Office and Marketing, and is the Assistant Director of Operations & Producer Recruitment for the international 48 Hour Film Project and the Cleveland producer of the 48HFP and Horror Film Projects.

Dena M. Warmuth, Stage Manager
After stage managing Shrek: The Musical, Dena is excited to be back at the TrueNorth stage. A graduate of Cleveland State University, Dena has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre, with a specialization in Directing. She completed an internship at the Cleveland Play House, where she stage managed Let’s Kiss and Make Up (an original musical). Favorite stage management projects include Shrek: The Musical (TrueNorth); The Rocky Horror Show (Cassidy Theatre); Macbeth (Cleveland Shakespeare Festival); I Hate Hamlet (Workshop Players); Bell, Book, and Candle (C.S.U.); Tiger Tail (C.S.U.); Mrs. Bob Cratchit’s Wild Christmas Binge (Cleveland Public Theater); The Death of Frank (Dobama Theatre) and Big Love (Cleveland Play House). Dena is also a director; she directed Sam Shepard’s Fool for Love at Cleveland State University.

Luke Scattergood, Costume Designer
Luke is excited to be back here at TNCA, having appeared on stage years ago in Brighton Beach Memoirs and Big River. Recently, Luke has been working off stage as stage manager and costumer for numerous shows in the area. He would like to thank Brian for the opportunity to work on the show. Also thanks to his wife, Laura, daughter, Lucy, and the little one on the way for all their love and support. Finally thanks to the Big Man upstairs for all the talents and abilities I have been blessed with. Enjoy the show!!
