Naked Ladies on display at the garden

Naked Ladies, aka Resurrection or Magic Lilies, Lycoris squamigera, are starting to appear from the ground and bloom with their large, lily like flowers. The hydrangeas, including the late-blooming tardiva, are still looking quite nice. There are still summer favorites like daylilies and roses to enjoy as well.
Daylilies dominate

The daylily trail is ablaze in color. Purple coneflower and Angel's Trumpet (brugmansia) are filling out the border with bee balm, phlox, royal impatiens and more. Visit the garden 8 am - 8 pm every day of the week!
